Sitka spruce is also a very fine tonewood - both of my personal guitars have Sitka spruce tops, and I've owned guitars with much more expensive Adirondack spruce tops, I'm here to tell you - spending several thousand dollars on a more expensive guitar with rarer woods doesn't make you a better player, or really even get you a better instrument.
